Here in Queensland we are very lucky to have some fantastic options when it comes to learning to Windsurf, including Australia's first Windsurfing Centre of Excellence based at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron.
LEARNER OPTIONS
The Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron is the premier windsurfing hub of Australia which homes the Australian Windsurfing Centre of Excellence and is a registered (Australian Sailing) Discover Sailing Centre. There are many opportunities for individuals and families of any age to engage in the learning, social and competitive aspects of this wonderful water sport.

Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club is set on the foreshore of beautiful Lake Cootharabah and has a very friendly country vibe about it. You can camp near the club or rent accommodation and relax into a training or racing day with all events and training sessions well organised and professionally run by the volunteers and staff at the club.

Brisbane Windsurfing Club - Come and visit us and experience the best windsurfing Brisbane has to offer. We provide outstanding lessons and exceptional equipment for a guaranteed fun-filled day on the water.

Lance Spring - Lance (Jinxy) is a very experienced windsurfer and QYA approved Instructor. He provides individual and group lessons and with gear included.
